Well I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. Ours was really great. Every year the 4th of July is my dad's side of the family reunion. We have cousins that do not live in Iowa so it's nice to see them. This year my cousin came from Columbia with her little boy. He is just a couple months younger than Barrett. If you remember last year me and 2 of my cousins were pregnant. Barrett was born in August, Kimber was born in September and Camilo was born in November. So they are all really close in age.
One thing I love about being at the lake is the amazing sunsets! They will take your breath away. This is the look out side my grandparents back deck.
Barrett was enjoying himself in his big boy chair.
Brooklyn and stopped moving for a short couple seconds so I could snap a picture. This kid is BUSY!
Bella is always more than happy to smile for the camera.
And here's Kimber. The 3 youngest great grandkids had so much fun playing in the living room with all the toys my cousins and I played with when we were little.
We had a lot of fun in the sun as well. Barrett wasn't too happy that I covered his whole head in sunscreen but he quickly forgot and enjoyed the water.
We also took the boat out. We must have timed the boat ride just right with nap time because all the kiddos feel asleep while we were on the water.
The girls also had fun playing on the deck with their Great Grandpa.
One thing I love about the lake is all the geese. The kids love them too. They always get so excited to see them.
After we got home from the lake we had a cook out at my parents. My dad made wings in the smoker. The girls loved them!
The kids also built a fort out of a cooler and my dad's shop towels. They thought they were so funny.
It was very hard to get a decent picture of all 3 kiddos, but ya know how it goes. This was as good as it was going to get.
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!!
