With Jason having to go do snow, that meant I had to drive the girls and I to Lake Panorama to my grandma's house. The roads were not that bad until we got into Panora. They hadn't plowed anything yet so it was kind of a guessing game on where the roads and lane markings were. I just took it slow and we made it there safely. Good thing I drove my husband's truck, we saw a lot of cars in the ditch.
Once we got there, the kids had a great time catching up and playing. We let the little kids open their presents first before going to church. We do that since after church they are pretty much ready to go to bed. Here are a few pictures of the kids opening their presents:
Bella was really excited to get her leap pad.
Brooklyn loves her new English/Spanish book from Aunt Ashley.
Easton got some trucks and Brooklyn had to help out.
Brooklyn needed Great Grandpa's help putting on a new shirt she got.
My sister is so talented with sewing. She made Bella this super soft blanket and as you can see it was Bella approved. :)
While we were waiting for dinner to be ready, I caught this great picture of Easton and Bella. They were playing in all the presents still under the tree.
Bella and Brooklyn were also obsessed with the window sills. They had to sit on them and share a little snack.
Church was to be as expected. The little kids just can't sit still long enough. So we took them to the nursery area so they could play. After church Aunt Deb read the kiddos The Polar Express. I don't think any of them made it through the whole book.
I wanted to get a picture of our little family before Brooklyn started to get too tired. This was the best one we could get.
After Brooklyn went down for bed, the grown ups got to open all their presents. Bella stayed up for a little of it but she fell asleep on my lap. She was afraid she'd miss something.
We had a great time at my Grandma's. I wish we could have stayed longer but we don't have that luxury any more with the million Christmas's we have.
Hope you all had a great Christmas!!
